A woman with long, wavy brown hair, blue eyes, and light skin sits on a tan couch indoors. She is wearing a navy blue off-shoulder top, silver hoop earrings, and a large silver teardrop pendant necklace. She has a floral tattoo on her upper arm and is smiling softly at the camera.

Hi, I’m Shannon Slizoski, LMFT

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Shannon specializes in providing mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Her focus is on strengthening relationships and helping clients heal from life's challenges through a systemic lens. Guided by Systems Theory, she considers each client within the context of their relationships, environment, and experiences, helping to uncover patterns that shape well-being and connection.

Additionally, she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful, evidence-based approach for processing trauma, reducing distress, and fostering resilience.  By integrating EMDR with relational and systemic approaches, Shannon creates a safe, supportive environment for clients to reprocess painful experiences while cultivating healthier patterns of interaction and self-understanding.

Shannon’s Approach

Her goal is to walk alongside clients with compassion and curiosity, empowering them to break cycles that no longer serve them, restore balance in their relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
